Rust Converter Spray

MOTIP Rust Converter is a rust converter and primer in one work step. Excellently suitable for the restoration of vehicles, machines and all kinds of facilities. This rust restoration system on epoxy resin basis merges with the neutralized rust layer to a metallic-organic iron complex. This black, very compact protection layer builds the primer and is the basis for the subsequent, durable lacquer finish.

Usage instructions

Before use, carefully read the directions on the packaging and act accordingly.

Pre Treatment: The surface should be clean, dry and free of grease. Remove loose rust and subsurface rustings.

Treatment: The surface should be clean, dry and free of grease. The aerosol should have room temperature. Best processing temperature 10 to 25°C. Before use, shake the aerosol for 2 minutes and spray a sample. Distance to the surface to be treated approximately 25 to 30 centimetre.

Re-coatable after approx. 6 hours.

Additional stoving makes the protective coat especially resistant to water-, saltwater and solvents. Let the sprayed coat dry for 15 minutes, then stove for 15 minutes at 160°C.

Variation

Car manufacturers have different production series where they might use paints from different paint manufacturers. Therefore, it can occur there are slight changes in colour shade under the same car colour code. To supply everyone, MOTIP makes these variations available. Is there a check mark visible in this column? This means you have a colour code with variations. The differences are small. However, they may be noticeable. We simply cannot say precisely which article best matches the colour of your car. In this case, we’d recommend you check the colour chart at a shop. If you do want to try, always spray a small sample to check if the colour matches the colour of the car.
